River and Bowersock books of photos and writing

Bowersock is 40 page book showing the construction process of the Bowersock North Powerhouse and the millpond dam structures in 2011-2012. A essay that talks a little about the need for more sustainable energy production and one that celebrates the workers that did this work are included.

From Amazon, the book plus shipping would cost around $10. The Raven might have copies for the same price. A single copy directly from me would be $8. Quantities of 5 or more would be $6 each.

Essentially the same photos and the essay 'What's done is done,' are available on my blog, 'Walk to the river.'

Kaw River Bridge is a more comprehensive collection of photos and writing all drawn from the area around the bridge. The paperback book is 136 pages. My objective was to show the different faces of the same river. The physical quality of the photos in both of these books is pretty good, but not top print quality. A copy of Kaw River Bridge from Amazon would cost $20 plus the shipping and handling. I could order it for for you for $20 inclusive of all other charges.

Many photos from Kaw River Bridge can be viewed at a Picasa Web Album at: Photos.
You could also read these essays directly: http://walktokawap.blogspot.com/2013/04/opening-essay-walk-along-river-book.html and http://walktokawap.blogspot.com/2013/04/heraclitus-essay-walk-along-river-book.html

More of what has been printed in these books, including a handful of poems and word sketches,  is scattered throughout my blog. And as always, you can see some amazing things for yourself along the Kaw or a river near you for the cost of your time and attention. Drop by and look at my own copies of the books sometime. And then, if you like, we could walk to the river, and I could buy you an egg creme at Aimee's.
